HVAC Free Tools is run by KarunaCode LLC. This page says plainly what we collect, why, and how to have it deleted.

What we don't keep

We don't save the reviews, tech notes, offers, job details, or other text you put into the tools, or the results the tools write for you. That text is used once to write your answer and then discarded.

What we do keep

• Each time a tool is used: the time, your IP address, which tool, which AI model answered, and the company name typed into the tool, if there is one.
• If you create a free account: your email, company name, whether you asked for tips by email, when you signed up and last visited, the IP address you signed up from and last used, and which tools you've used.
• If you send us a message: your name, company, email, phone number if you give it, your message, and your IP address.
• On your device: a sign-in cookie if you have an account, and your company name in your browser's storage so you don't have to retype it.

Why

• To run the tools, including the free-account fast lane and its monthly limit.
• To stop abuse: rate limits, bot protection, and spotting misuse.
• To see which tools are useful so we can improve them.
• To contact account holders about their account and, only if you ticked the box, to send occasional tips about using AI in an HVAC business. Every tips email has a way to stop them.

We don't sell your information.

Services that handle your information for us

• AI model. Answers are written by Google's Gemma 4 model, reached through OpenRouter and the model provider it routes to. What you type into a tool is sent there to write your answer. We only allow providers that say they don't store or train on requests.
• Cloudflare Turnstile checks that you're a person and not a bot. See Cloudflare's Turnstile privacy policy.
• Resend delivers sign-in emails and passes your messages on to us.
• ntfy sends a notification of your message to our phone.
• Your browser's dictation (the Dictate button) is provided by your browser, which may send your voice to its maker (for example Google or Apple) to turn it into text. It never reaches our server.

How long we keep it

Tool-use records are deleted automatically after 12 months. Account information and messages you send us are kept until you ask us to delete them.

Deleting your information

Email hello@karunacode.com from the address on your account and we'll delete your account and everything logged under it. You can also ask what we have about you.
